Before that, he was married to Lola Van Wagenen—the couple shared four children prior to ending their marriage in 1985.
Sadly, among their sons, Scott, died when he was only two months old from sudden infant death syndrome.
Another son, James, succumbed after a fight against cancer in 2020.
Redford is remembered by two daughters—one, a painter, and the other, who works in film.
